Organizatorzy Armstrong Metalfest mają zaszczyt zaprezentować kolejny zestaw zespołów, które wystąpią na scenie 15 i 16 lipca w Hassen Arena w Armstrong (BC, Kanada). Dołączą one do przedstawionych wcześniej 12 grup. W tym roku organizatorzy planują przedstawić czołówkę zespołów z zachodniej Kanady oraz kilku gości zza granicy. O festiwalu
Armstrong Metal Fest to wzorujące się na europejskich festiwalach święto heavy metalu, dające możliwość fanom zarówno x Kanady, jak i całego świata, zabawy oraz obozowania w przepięknej Dolinie Okanagan. Festiwal wziął swój początek od imprezy, na której wystąpiło 11 lokalnych zespołów takich jak Terrifier, Xul czy Odinfist i przez kilka następnych lat stał się jednym z ważniejszych wydarzeń na metalowej scenie kanadyjskiego zachodniego wybrzeża. 2016 to ósmy rok festiwalu i planowany jest jako największy jak do tej pory pod względem ilości zespołów i widzów. Tegoroczny zespół organizatorów, zwany jako West Metal Entertainment Society, jest zdeterminowany, aby zapewnić jak najbardziej atrakcyjny zestaw zespołów oraz kilka organizacyjnych niespodzianek. W poprzednich latach na festiwalu grały takie zespoły jak Cattle Decapitation, Suffocation, Anciients, Bison BC, Striker, Crimson Shadows, Holy Grail, Archspire, Cryptopsy, Unleash The Archers, Divinity, Into Eternity, Ninjaspy, Vesperia, XUL, Odinfist, Death Toll Rising, Gomorra.

Already unveiling the first twelve bands for their 2016 line up, Armstrong Metalfest is proud to reveal its next batch of bands for the fest taking place on July 15th and 16th in Armstrong, BC at the Hassen Arena. This year's fest plans to showcase a high caliber of Western Canadian and international bands, which will include one winning band from BrokenNeckRadio.com's People Choice Contest where one band will be selected by public to vote to play the stage at this year's AMF. Taking influence from Europe's music festival circuit, Armstrong Metal Fest is a heavy metal celebration that encourages metal heads from across Canada and the globe to mosh and camp with the backdrop of great outdoors of British Columbia's Okanagan Valley. What started as a backyard party in 2009 with nothing but eleven local metal bands such as Terrifier, Xul and Odinfist to name a few, has grown into a a huge success admired by the Western Canadian Metal scene. 2016 will be the eighth year of the festival and is planned to be the largest year for music and attendance yet. This year's team of organizers known as the West Metal Entertainment Society is the most dedicated to date and are excited to present an incredible line up along with some changes to come for AMF 2016. Previous years of the festival have seen line ups with Cattle Decapitation, Suffocation, Anciients, Bison BC, Striker, Crimson Shadows, Holy Grail, Archspire, Cryptopsy, Unleash The Archers, Divinity, Into Eternity, Ninjaspy, Vesperia, XUL, Odinfist, Death Toll Rising, Gomorrah among many others .
