Montreal black metallers Éohum have teamed up with Nefarious Realm for the premiere of their fourth single 'Ode To A Martyr' off their upcoming EP 'Ealdfaeder' set for release on March 18th.

Band founder and guitarist Jeremy Perkins comments:

"Ode To A Martyr" is the more doom influenced black metal song of the EP. With a deep guttural and low tone harmony we unleash the pure black riffs with our usual ease.

Tak się jakoś ułożyło, że nie miałem dotąd okazji spotkać się z twórczością Greków i to pomimo tego, że nazwę znałem od zawsze i wiedziałem gdzie dzwony biją, jeśli chodzi o muzykę. W końcu jednak płyta tego zespołu dołączyła do mojej kolekcji i mogę bliżej zapoznać się z tym, co proponuje czterech mieszkańców Hellady (w tym momencie trzech plus Austriak). Najprościej sklasyfikować te dźwięki jako symfoniczny death metal, ale to, co odróżnia ten album od innych tego typu wydawnictw to udział w nagraniach Orkiestry Praskiej Filharmonii oraz Praskiego Chóru Dziecięcego. Obok nich usłyszymy także chóry męski i żeński. Nadało to muzyce przepychu, epickości i mrocznej atmosfery. Te symfoniczne partie są integralną częścią poszczególnych kompozycji i idealnie uzupełniają się z death metalem. A death metal odgrywany przez Septic Flesh to ciężkie, techniczne riffy, częste zmiany tempa i mocny growl, wspomagany przez czyste wokale. Jestem pod wrażeniem kunsztu kompozytorskiego Greków, chociaż brakuje mi na tej płycie kropki nad "i" momentów, które wywoływałyby ciarki na plecach. Może na wcześniejszych wydawnictwach odnajdę to "coś".

NEWS: Seele releases "Enkelten Luona" Music Video from the forthcoming album "Jos Vain Kaiken Jättäisin"

Founded by the singer Julia Mattila and guitar player Riku Mäkinen, SEELE originally started out as a two person project.  During the summer  2015 they began recording their debut album “Jos Vain Kaiken Jättäisin” and in December the last recordings were finished.  The album will feature ten songs, including the first single release “Enkelten Luona”.

Rodrigo y Gabriela to meksykański duet, który tworzą Rodrigo Sanchez i Gabriela Quintero. Poznali się w Meksyku, gdzie wspólnie grali w trashmetalowym zespole Tierra Acida. Ze względu na ograniczenia jakie nakładał na nich rodzimy rynek zdecydowali się jednak na przenosiny do Europy. Tutaj zaczęli karierę od wspólnego, akustycznego grania na ulicach Dublina. Przełom nastąpił w momencie, gdy muzyków dostrzegł Damien Rice i zaproponował im udział w irlandzkim festiwalu Oxegen.

Following its top-notch approach to releasing music and designing special editions, Ukrainian spiritualized rockers Ethereal Riffian announce the release of hand-made 5CD discographies. Weeks spent to design the right archetype, more than 50 hours in production, packing and assembly - surely this offering by the band is a great showcase of creativity and the right utilization of a good old DIY-method. Each bundle features a sack-box with thick walls and bamboo button, a sticker pack and a story or clippings from the band's books for each release.

"Nowadays, if you want your Art to communicate with people, glossy digipack with a good artwork may not be enough. When creating items like this discography, ER's goal is to give listeners certain experience which is deeper and goes beyond just touching and listening. If there's certain depth to the band's concepts and music - the artist should provide enough means for the people to grasp it," comments Val Kornev, front-man of the band.
