For fans who prefer digital music, the new album ‘Internal Saboteur’ from Brazil's Astafix is now available on all major online such as iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.
‘Internal Saboteur’ was recorded at Norcal Studio and produced by Brendan Duffey with the album cover created by artist Marcelo Vasco (Slayer, Machine Head, Soulfly, Distraught, etc).
Curcuma powstała w kwietniu 2007, ale teraźniejszy kształt przybrała we wrześniu 2011, po tym jak do składu dołączył wokalista Szurbo. W nowym składzie pierwszy koncert miał miejsce w legendarnym szczecińskim Free Blues Clubie 9 września 2011. W kwietniu 2012 zespół nagrał płytę EP pt. NIKT. Kolejne miesiące to koncerty i wydanie dwóch singli pt. "Świt" i "Gwóźdź", do którego klip powstał we wrześniu 2012 roku.
W 2013 roku Curcuma dostała się na największy europejski festiwal Przystanek Woodstock.
Curcuma to post grunge połączony z nowoczesną, hadrockową alternatywą. To koncertowy dynamit wspomagany przez młot pneumatyczny. Fani zespołu określają muzykę Curcumy "Gwoździem". "Wbijanie gwoździ" polega na rytmicznym ruchu głowy ku dołowi. Dzieje się tak, gdyż pod wpływem "ataku" Curcumy następuje u odbiorców pewnego rodzaju pulsacyjny ucisk czaszki na mózg.
Co do samej Curcumy to tworzą ją:
- Szurbo (Łukasz Szulborski) - wokal. Do zespołu dołączył w 2011 roku i od razu został rozpoznany jako "brakujący element układanki".
- Degóra (Jakub Degórski) - gitara. Założyciel i kompozytor większości materiału. Lider zespołu. Jak mawiają znawcy: "Degóra nie jest gitarzystą. On jest drwalem".
- Marówa (Marek Kuśmierczak) - Bas. Współzałożyciel Curcumy. Dobry duch zespołu. Pogromca delikatnych dźwięków.
- Beniu (Piotr Busz) - bębny. Znany z brutalnych uderzeń w werbel. Legendarny łamacz pałek.
O, tak!!! Jest moc! W tej muzyce jest moc i kop. Od pierwszych sekund aż po ostatni takt uderza w nas energia generowana przez dźwięki nawiązujące do klasycznego thrash metalu z elementami speed i raczej mówimy to o klasyce jankeskie, a nie o teutońskiej. Szybkość, bezkompromisowość. ostre jak brzytwa riffy, przecinające powietrze, furia, agresja, finezyjne solówki. Pięknie grzechoczący bas. I te wrzeszczące wokale. Jadowite, pełne wściekłości i buntu, wspomagane przez chóralne przyśpiewy. To się wręcz musi się podobać. Ta muzyka wręcz urywa łeb i pomimo tego, że oparta jest na pozornie dawno już ogranych tysiące razy patentach, to ma równocześnie w sobie duże pokłady świeżości, a dzięki aranżacyjnym pomysłom w niczym nie ustępuje klasykom gatunku, na których była wzorowana. Amken ma na koncie demo, split a ta płyta to debiutancki długograj Greków i aż mi się wierzyć nie chce, że wciąż nie znaleźli wydawcy chętnego na swój materiał. Szkoda by taki album przeszedł bez echa. Trzymam kciuki.
Italian Progressive/Rock/Fusion/Blues project GC Project has launched new video!
On the scene since 1992. Once graduated at University of Music in Rome, he played live and recorded demos with several bands from the Naples rock/metal scene. He played in the album "A New Day" from Silent Field, for Nocturnal Music label, followed by a live tour. After moving to Bologna, he recorded "Rock, Groove, Sexy & Funky" (2004) with Alias, "Misteriosevoci" (2005) and "Rebus" (2008) with Barock Project, for the french Musea Records label. He recorded two songs with GOS (Ivano Zanotti, Vince Pastano, Giorgio Santis) in 2006. Official drummer for Rain from 2011 to 2014, he played in "XXX" tour, "Mexican Way" album and the following 9-months tour. Member of Ypnos (actually in studio recording their first album) and Coda (Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin tribute). On September 2014 he started writing songs for his solo project, the GC Project, the Giacomo Calabria's soloproject. After three years on tour in Italy and Europe, studio recording and many sessions, his desire is to play music tha includes many genres, progressive, hard rock, heavy metal, blues, latin, and play with several artists who are friends too, to create an album with different kind of sounds, attitudes and interplay, All songs and lyrics are written by Giacomo Calabria.
The album is titled Face the Odds, released on december 7th 2015 by Sliptrick Records, and contains 11 original tracks and one ghost track, The Black Page #1, tribute to Frank Zappa, and it's available in stores, on Itunes, Deezer, Amazon music, Google play, Musimania, KKBox and others platforms.

The band was founded by Fabiano Andreacchio as a bass solo project, the sound moved from progressive to djent with strong instrumental parts and vocoder voices and incredible shred evolutions, drawing influences from the likes of Modern Day Babylon, Cynic, Fear Factory, Periphery.
