Adrenaline is the second digi-single from the upcoming album Atlas.

Shock industrial metal -band Fear of Domination has released a new digi-single Adrenaline. The single is a second taster from the upcoming album Atlas.

Debiutancki album słupskiego Resurrection to siedem utworów, zamkniętych w niecałych 30 minutach. Muzykę zawartą na tym krążku określiłbym jako death metal nawiązujący do dokonań sceny amerykańskiej. Dominują szybkie tempa z częstymi blastami, chociaż pojawiają się też fragmenty, w których tempo wyraźnie zwalnia, a do uszu docierają melodyjne solówki lub akustyczne partie. W szybsze momenty wplecione są bardziej techniczne zagrywki gitarzystów. Wokale to głęboki, basowy growl wspierany od czasu do czasu przez schowany w tle krzyk. Najciekawszym utworem jest zamykający płytę "Necropsy", który trwa ponad 6 minut i zawiera w sobie ciekawie pomyślane kombinacje blastów, średnich temp i epickich fragmentów. Wprawdzie dwa poprzedzające go utwory również są skomponowane na podobnych schemacie, ale to właśnie w tym ostatnim kawału najwięcej się dzieje. Zresztą cała płyta to muzyka na przyzwoitym poziomie i przyjemności słuchania nie zakłócają nawet pojawiające się od czasu do czasu refleksje typu "ja już to gdzieś słyszałem". Album ukazał się 1 marca tego roku.

MEGADETH - Dystopia (2016)

Trzy lata po dość chłodno przyjętym "Super Collider", kilka miesięcy po kolejnej wymianie muzyków i następujących po niej niezliczonych spekulacjach o tym, kto zasili skład, Megadeth wypuszcza  swój piętnasty album. I tak jak Rudy zapowiadał, jest to powrót do thrashowych korzeni zespołu, czy też raczej frontmena, gdyż Dave odpowiada za 8 z 11 kompozycji (podstawowa wersja płyty), a pozostałe trzy powstały przy kooperacji nowego gitarzysty Kiko Loureiro. Mustaine nie rzucał słów na wiatr i już otwierający płytę riff daje nam namiastkę tego, co będzie się działo przez następne trzy kwadranse. Usłyszmy charakterystyczne, ostre gitary, dużo solówek zarówno tych melodyjnych, jak i bardziej technicznych, sporo szybkich momentów oraz mocną sekcję. Wokal ponownie jest pełen jadu, złości i agresji. Momentami pojawiają się skojarzenia z takimi klasykami jak "Rust In Peace" czy  "Countdown to Extinction", ale nie brakuje też świeżych pomysłów. Teksty tradycyjnie nawiązują do polityki i problemów społecznych. Nie wiem, w jakim stopniu było to wyrachowane działanie, podyktowane opiniami o poprzednim albumie, a jak bardzo rzeczywista była potrzeba nagrania takich dźwięków, ale według mnie Mustaine mógłby już pozbyć się swojego kompleksu pod nazwą "Metallica", gdyż na ten moment muzyka, jaką tworzy, znacznie przewyższa ostatnie dokonania Czterech Jeźdźców i mam tylko nadzieję, że następne płyty będą utrzymane w podobnej stylistyce a Dave odpuści sobie eksperymenty i walkę o pozycję na liście Billboardu.
