5’NIZZA [UKRAINA]

Progresja Music Zone ma zaszczyt zaprosić na koncert legendarnego zespołu 5’Nizza, który odbędzie się 23. czerwca.

5’Nizza, to legendarny ukraiński duet, znany z hitów takich, jak Soldat czy Jamayka. Po zawieszeniu swojej aktywności na kilka lat Ukraińcy postanowili się reaktywować ku radości milionów fanów na świecie i pierwszy raz od ponad 9 lat odwiedzą Warszawę!

Zespół tworzy eklektyczną mieszankę stylów, łącząc reggae, ragga, hip hop i beatbox, a także muzykę kabaretową, jazzową, a nawet punkrockową. W opinii krytyków i publiczności ich twórczość zajmuje wysokie miejsce wśród takich sław gatunku jak Bob Marley (ich cover piosenki Jammin’ uważany jest przez wielu za najlepszy cover piosenki Boba Marleya), czy Manu Chao.
Dokładnie 4 marca 2015 świat obiegła informacja, że grupa podjęła decyzję o reaktywacji, a już 21 kwietnia na kanale YouTube grupy został opublikowany klip z nową piosenką “I Believe In You”.

Agencje Go Ahead, Knock Out Productions i wROCKfest.pl z przyjemnością zapraszają na koncerty Gogol Bordello!

Zespół wystąpi 25 czerwca we wrocławskiej Hali Stulecia, 26 czerwca w warszawskiej Progresji i 27 czerwca w krakowskim Studio.

Gogol Bordello to doskonała mieszanka ognistego punk rocka i muzyki cygańskiej. Przez dziennikarzy grupa jest często opisywana jako bardziej teatralna, cygańska odpowiedź na The Pogues. Inni z kolei dodają, że w bogatym instrumentarium zespołu słychać wpływy od Beli Bartoka po Sonic Youth. Gogol Bordello słyną przede wszystkim z fantastycznych koncertów, na których można się spodziewać po prostu wszystkiego!

Set to unleash their debut full length album 'The Fallen Sun' officially on June 10th, Toronto, ON's SLUDGEHAMMER have posted a new music video for their track 'Carrion Eater', which is one of eleven fist pounding tracks that features the dynamic vocal performances from lead vocalist Chris Szarota and bassist Dan Ayers, along with a showcase of mind bending guitar solos, heavy riffs and blistering drumming fury to follow up their 2014 EP 'Organ Harvester'.

NEWS: Alchemy: first video online!

Italian hard rockers Alchemy published the new video for the song “End Of The Line” (https://youtu.be/49AQpSRmtNQ), taken from their debut album “Never Too Late”, scheduled for release on May 31st, 2016 via Street Symphonies Records. The video was filmed by Michele Tonoli at Circolo Colony in their hometown Brescia, Italy, where a 'release party' for “Never Too Late” will be held on June 04th. The band will perform a second 'release party' the night after in Milan at Legend Club.

The album ‘Locked Forever’ takes us to a profound journey through the confines of hospices and prisons in Brazil. NEWS: A REBEL FEW Announce Ontario Shows Date; Streaming Debut Album 'As The Crow Flies'

Cambridge, ON's A REBEL FEW announce they will be performing Ontario dates this summer, which will include a fundraiser / benefit show on May 22nd in Kitchener, ON to help the victims of the Fort McMurray wildfires. The band's dates are in support of their debut album 'As The Crow Flies' that was released this past April and was produced by Sterling Winfield (Pantera, Damageplan, Hellyeah, Texas Hippie Coalition) plus mastered by Howie Weinberg (Rush, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Beastie Boys, Pantera). Know your Nemesis statement about the video:
"While we wait for our upcoming album release, we have decided to show you another tune. This song is called End of Me, and it’s the first one we wrote for the album, so it has a lot of sentimental value to us. Marius even has the opening lick tattooed on his arm! This time we wanted to give you something with a little more meat, so instead of just a lyric video we filmed a playthrough during one of our rehersals. So we played around with a GoPro camera and the result was even better than what we hoped for.
We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we did, and we can’t wait to show you the rest of the album."

Know Your Nemesis:
Formed in 2009, Know Your Nemesis started their journey in Kongsvinger, Norway. Since it’s foundation by Ole Petter Bjørnseth (guitar/vocals) and Marius Haugen (guitar), a few members have been in and out, resulting in the current line-up. During 2014 Ole Kristian Bekkevold (bass) and Birk William Hynne (drums) joined the band, making the band complete again. After signing with WormHoleDeath Know Your Nemesis traveled to Italy in early 2015 to record their debut album Break The Chain, which will be released during 2016.
Know Your Nemesis play music with heavy riffs, melodic patterns, tight drums and beautiful harmonies. We have the common goal: to bring our affection for metal out throughout the world, and we will continue to do it!

NEWS: Nowy teledysk grupy Curcuma

Curcuma powstała w kwietniu 2007, ale teraźniejszy kształt przybrała we wrześniu 2011, po tym jak do składu dołączył wokalista Szurbo. W nowym składzie pierwszy koncert miał miejsce w legendarnym szczecińskim Free Blues Clubie 9 września 2011. W kwietniu 2012 zespół nagrał płytę EP pt. NIKT. Kolejne miesiące to koncerty i wydanie dwóch singli pt. "Świt" i "Gwóźdź", do którego klip powstał we wrześniu 2012 roku.

W 2013 roku Curcuma dostała się na największy europejski festiwal Przystanek Woodstock.

Curcuma to post grunge połączony z nowoczesną, hadrockową alternatywą. To koncertowy dynamit wspomagany przez młot pneumatyczny. Fani zespołu określają muzykę Curcumy "Gwoździem". "Wbijanie gwoździ" polega na rytmicznym ruchu głowy ku dołowi. Dzieje się tak, gdyż pod wpływem "ataku" Curcumy następuje u odbiorców pewnego rodzaju pulsacyjny ucisk czaszki na mózg.

Co do samej Curcumy to tworzą ją:
- Szurbo (Łukasz Szulborski) - wokal. Do zespołu dołączył w 2011 roku i od razu został rozpoznany jako "brakujący element układanki".
- Degóra (Jakub Degórski) - gitara. Założyciel i kompozytor większości materiału. Lider zespołu. Jak mawiają znawcy: "Degóra nie jest gitarzystą. On jest drwalem".
- Marówa (Marek Kuśmierczak) - Bas. Współzałożyciel Curcumy. Dobry duch zespołu. Pogromca delikatnych dźwięków.
- Beniu (Piotr Busz) - bębny. Znany z brutalnych uderzeń w werbel. Legendarny łamacz pałek.
