Rome based Stoner/Doom metallers has just launched new lyric video!


Witches of Doom are a goth-stoner-doom band born in Rome in January 2013, when Federico Venditti –guitars-, DaniloPiludu –vocals- Jacopo Cartelli-bass- Andrea Budicin-drums- got together and started their own musical project in order to play a personalized mix of 80’s goth, 70’s hard rock blended with a 90’s sensibility that harks back to Type o’Negative and Moonspell among others.
The Roman ensemble started to write their own material and in just a few months the bulk of the debut album was already panned out. Witches of Doom want to play in front of an audience and in Spring 2013 they embark on a series of live dates within the Roman circuit where they will establish their name as one of the hottest bands in the Roman underground music scene.
In May 2013 the band finished arranging the ten tracks that will end up on their debut CD, “Obey” and in November they entered the Hombre Lobo Studios with Fabio Recchia as producer and sound engineer . The ten tracks recorded in those sessions represent a huge step forward, with defined arrangements thanks to the keyboard work of Fabio and Graziano “Eric”Corrado. The first names that spring to mind to give you an idea are Black Sabbath, Cult, Paradise,Lost, Sisters of Mercy and Depeche Mode.
Graziano “Eric”Corrado is now a full on member of the group who signed with Sliptrick Rec. soon after the band played many venues in Italy and embarked in their first tour in the Baltic countries, receiving lots of appraisal and good feedback.
The band filmed a video for the crowd pleaser U2 song New Years Day, featuring Paul Bento –ex Type O Negative and Carnivore- on lead guitar and produced by Fredrik Folkaiare from Unleashed.
The band has finished recording their second album due on May via Sliptrick Records.

NEWS: FLAYED sign to Kaotoxin ; new EP this Fall

Kaotoxin is proud to announce the inking of a multi-album deal with French Hard Rock sextet FLAYED.

Created in 2013 and having since then released two full-lengths (“Symphony for the Flayed”, 2014 and “Monster Man”, 2015) and played nearly 250 gigs (!) in Europe and Canada, FLAYED are reviving the 70’s Hard Rock feel (think AC/DC, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath…) adding more modern influences to the formula (Foo Fighters…), creating their very own approach of the style as demonstrated in their latest music video for the song “Monster Man”, title track of their latest album (see below).

First step of the newly sealed pact will be the release of FLAYED’s brand new EP this fall, supported by a new tour in November. Until then, catch the frantic stage-crushing machine’s live performances at the following events and stay tuned for more infos!

Pochodzący z Łotwy HEAVEN GREY tworzy wyjątkową muzykę będącą połączeniem melodyjnego gothic metalu z ciężkim i posępnym doom metalem. NEWS: Ottawa Symphonic Black Death Metal ENDEMISE Posts 'Anathema' Music Vide

Ottawa, ON symphonic black / death metal band ENDEMISE has posted a new music video for the title track from their upcoming album 'Anathema' due out later this year to follow their 2013 debut album 'Far From The Light' released on Maple Metal Records and 2012 self-titled EP. The album was produced by ENDEMISE guitarist Dale Sauve along with Ken Sorceron (Abigail Williams) and features eight blistering tracks to burst your ear drums (album artwork and track listing revealed below). Endemise's live brutality has also lead the band to be a favourite local support on the Ottawa metal scene for touring bands such as Abigail Williams, Cattle Decapitation, Alestorm, Battlecross, Beneath The Massacre, Crimson Shadows and Vesperia.
